Stumped - please help identify this connector

I need to replace this well-worn connector and its pins. There is no part list that identifies the connector. I've tried at length to figure out who made/makes this part, with no luck.

You can see by the closeup photos that the pins are made from flat metal that is bent back on itself to form a sort of compressible contact. The housing has a tab with an apparent screw hole and little tabs/feet on the opposite side. It's very roughly about an inch square in Length/Width and about 3/8 inch or less in height.

Does anyone here have an idea who made/makes this? Any insights would be appreciated!!

You might want to contact Tyco
They have many connectors that look similar.
Another option would be to contact Digikey and see if they have any matches. You can go through their website as well and search for your connector based on how many pins, etc.
Molex makes many as well - most of these companies will have a parts interchange between their competitors products. Good luck.

All good suggestions, but those are all places I've already looked through at length, but it was a blind search and they carry a jillion varieties. That's why I was hoping someone would recognize at least the family or style so as to at least narrow down the search a bit. The case and pins all seem different than anything I found so far.

I hear ya, that is why I posted the first link. Tyco support is actually really good. You might get lucky with them. They have a chat so you could link them to the photos and see if they can source it for you. Digikey can be hard to navigate sometimes, but customer service their has been top notch each time I have called.

Those pins appear identical in shape to the ones used in this connector, but I don't see where on that website it shows who the manufacturer is.

Also, I see they are rated at 1A and I know this circuit carries currents of at least 10, perhaps 15A. I should also mention that I think 18 ga. wire is used on this harness.

I've seen those before so they're probably either AMP or Molex. Look for a very small molded series number on the edge of the housing on the wire entry side.

By the way, the ones you show are not crimped correctly. The insulation strain relief crimp is crimped on the conductor.

Can you not simply replace both mating connectors with something else, rated for the current you expect to pass? As you noted, there are jillions of this style available.

I'm with hevans1944, ESPECIALLY when you know that the the current you're handling is greater than what the connector is rated for.
