I don't now too many companies that install and monitor IDS in SCIFF's any
more, ADT is probably the only one that comes to mind. But you do make a
good point about liability.

Although not technically a SCIF, any facility subject to the NISPOM's
IDS requirements would fall under the same category, and there are a
lot of those out there.

Yes, but my point was that it will be very unlikely you will found many
private companies that monitor these types of systems, most of these are

Facilities subject to the NISPOM aren't government agencies. They are
federal government contractors who must have an IDS per DCID 6/9
and/or UL2050. These systems are generally installed, certificated,
and monitored by private industry security contractors.

Also, most stand-alone federal facilities are monitored by private
industry. Obvious exceptions are military bases and larger buildings
or complexes with proprietary security systems. The company I work
for contracts with about every federal agency you've heard of (and a
few you haven't) to provide electronic security equipment and service
including monitoring in many cases.
