Speaker Volume Control possibly potentiometer

I have a creative SBS 370 Model 2.1 channel speaker.
Its volume control remote is not working properly.
.Only one speaker works and in other channel output is not always obtained.As far as i have checked,its potentiometer is out of order.
I couldn't make out how its circuit is.
Here are pics of its circuit.pls tell me how its PCB connections are (in the order how connections are).

As well as pls tell me what should be ratings of a new potentiometer(dual gang for stereo o/p) that have to be replaced.

Subwoofer Power: 11 Watts RMS
Frequency Response:40Hz ~ 20kHz
Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR):75dB

I'm not seeing the pot. It would help if we could see the characters stamped on the pot.
Is this a conventional potentiometer, or an integrated circuit variable pot.
What would tell us what we need to know, is the wiring from the pot to your connector.
Picture or hand-drawn schematic. (But we still need the characters off the pot to ID it)

Maybe somebody here can guesstimate a good part.
I do things pretty literally.
Do you have an ohmmeter or know somebody who has one?
Measure the resistance across the two outside contacts on the pot, and you'll have
the resistance of the pot.
If you measure it's diameter, we can estimate the wattage.
You said the pot is bad. It would be nice to replace the pot with the value that your
circuit was built for.
Once you have the pot value, you can buy a dual-ganged pot assy of the correct value.

have you unscrewed the black knob off the pot ? you will probably find the markings on the pot under the knob. if it doesnt unscrew then you will have to unsolder the pot the markings may be on the under side that is against the PCB. I havent seen a pot yet that doesnt have some markings on it

unfortunately the output power info of the unit doesnt help with the value for the pot. This is because the volume control pots are usually placed between the pre-amp and power amp stages where signal levels are quite low.

I have these same speakers. I am working on a mod and I want to replace the pot
This is not a normal pot with 3 pins so measuring the resistance isn't so easy. It looks like it has 5 pins. Or perhaps it's a center tap (4 pins) and one to anchor...

I have just desoldered the pot. It is part A103 and is a 10k pot. A meaning audio (log scale). It is simply a dual gang stereo potentiometer (normally 6 pins)

I would say what you have is a ganged pot with ground common. The attached diagram is almost most certainly how it is wired to the amp.

Yes, but quite likely without the capacitors.

Getting a direct replacement is likely to be rather difficult.

A relatively simple option is to get a regular dual gang log pot and wire that in. Perhaps less trivial is finding somewhere to mount it.

why i am intending to replace with the exact replica is because it is kept in a housing, other variants will not fit into the housing.
