The vertical lines are not only jagged, but there is some jittering to them as
well. The geometry controls in the setup menu have no effect in straightening
the lines. When you first turn the monitor on, you can see a few retrace lines
but that seems to settle down as the set warms up.
I resoldered the connections on the boards, tested the esr of all the
electrolytic caps, and found no problems there. Could a bad flyback be causing
these symptoms?
