Solar Panel to charge super capacitor

How is it possible to charge a 165F 48V supercapacitor module using a 100W, 22V at Pmax, 6.06A at Pmax, solar panel? Whenever we connect it directly to the solar panel, the supercapacitor (40V+ then) discharges. What can we add or connect to be able to charge this module using the panel we currently have? Thank you! Really hoping for a solution. :)

The first step should always be using a diode to prevent the capacitor from discharging into the panel...
Keep in mind that the capacitor will draw a LOT of current to start and will slowly decrease. (Requiring an increase in voltage to continue charge)
