I have a 1200 W grid tie inverter ...(WCV1200) it has 4 inputs , each one designed to take 300W ....input voltage is 22-50V
My panels are 100W (21V open circuit ) ...so I have to put two in series to get the inverter to work , so I can put either 2 panels (200W) or 4 panels(400W) on each input ...
My question is if I put 4 panels on each input would it overload the inverter on the rare occasion the panels deliver full power ...
If it would , could I put 4 panels on two input sockets , and 2 panels on the other two inputs , this would make max input at the rated 1200W ??? ....Many thanks...
