smd component

i have this small olympus battery charger model not sure but states on the sticker input ac 100volts -240 volts 50/60hz ,max 150 mA output dc 4.2 volts(8.4 v) dc 600 mAh, my issue is im still learning and yes i could discard it but fixing it would be better i know the smd resistor is damaged and the small smd transistor as ill post pics as i cant work out the types and values of these 2 components any info that may lead in the right direction would help ty for reading my post im thinking 9.7ohms maybee the transisor aint got a clue

I say you're out of luck with these. Without legible imprint there is no chance of knowing what's supposed to be there. Unless you have access to a schematic diagram with labeled values for these components.

well ty mate i do have a pcb code on the circuit board as the 2 components are definitely had their day,,looks like a new one is in order
