Small motor controller circuit board transformer

Need help identifying the transformer and where to get one to replace the one burned out.

What's the board?
If you have a board number, Id, for the board, there may be a schematic available, which shows the part numbers for components.

Hi Nan,
what you see is all I've got. The board is for a commercial grade bench top jig saw. It is simply the speed control.
One set of low volt wires connects to the potentiometer. The other feeds into the motor which asume reads the speed.
I could order a new board, but really don't want to pay $130.
By the way, I am familiar with the basic parts but that is about as far as my knowledge goes. Once I can acquire the parts, I can fix the board.

Ok, as a long shot, does the jigsaw have a brand & model? Any chance of a manual?
There may be someone of ecperience here, but for the most part transformers look like transformers. There are a few different footprints, but they come in a variety of windings & having them made to specifics is not very difficult & cost-effective. So, could be a wide variety of specifications.
With a circuit, you might get lucky with a part number, or even work out the specs.
The board looks as if it has done the miles.

The circuit is old school and relatively simple. I wondering if instead of replacing the exact transformer, I could use a larger one of the same voltages and run leads to the board. Is that possible?
The owners manual online does not have specs other than 120volt.
