I have, built a project (someone elses design) that controls the stages of an Air Raid Attack Warning reciever simply using momentary switches to activate an MP3 tigger loaded with three different mp3 siren sounds, which then outputs to an original Cold War Warning system.
However I would like to progress the project to make the momentary switches remotely controlled so that I can set it off remotely/wirelessley. Im not looking for a high tec solution, just the most basic unit with 2/3 channels. Ideally an "out of the box" unit that I can just incorporate into my project. Any advice or pointers to such a device would be very welcome.....
