Simple Button and Ethernet Interface Schematic

Hi, I hope you can help.....

As I am sure you have guessed I am no electronics expert but I have a need for a simple 4 momentary contact button configuration connected to an EDAM 9050 Ethernet Interface. The buttons have LED Illumination.

I have drawn up a simple connection diagram attached. Can anybody verify if this is correct, or most likely what I have done wrong?

Your time is much appreciated.

Well,
That depends of is it you like to achieve...
The way you connected it D1-D4 have logic level "0" normally.
pressing the push-button of an input will change that to logic "1" (as long as the button is pressed).
Don't try to count "events" with that connection !!! ;)

Hi, thanks for the response,

What I need to do is register a dedicated input (button push) that is detected by a Crestron control system, the Crestron then spits out its corresponding code to feedback the selected input. i.e. If the user selects option 3 the Crestron will detect the input via the EDAM unit and configure the zone to the predetermined state for input 3. Does this make any sense?
