Can you describe the rules your school has for doing your own homework?

So can we say that they have the following applications or there are other main applications than these,,,

1) Christmas Light strings - the little bulbs are in series.
2) Batteries in the remote - they are in series, say 4 pieces X 1.5V = 6Volt
3) A Voltage Divider - 2 resistors in series, across one of them you get a desired voltage (which is smaller than the total voltage).

Parallel circuits:
1) A Chandelier - all the light bulbs are in parallel.
2) Everything in your house - all appliances are in parallel to the mains supply.
3) A Power divider - 2 resistors in parallel, which share the power dissipation (heat).

Not right now if there are other main apps than those then tell me

You don't get it do you?

it is not my homework but assignment given to search on net

WE ARE NOT GOING TO DO YOUR HOMEWORK (When is an assignment not homework?).

If you come up with some ideas, we can let you know if you're right or wrong and we will give you some hints if we think you need it, but we're not getting credit for your class so YOU have to do the work.

As a hint, can you generalise further on your second example for parallel circuits?

Can you generalise about switches used to turn lights, appliances, etc on and off?
