Searching for the perfect lcd display

Hello,
I have been searching the Internet for days now, hours wasted scrolling through alibaba and aliexpress with very little luck.

I am looking for a 1 to 2.6 inch color lcd (doesn't matter if oled or tft or whatever) with a resolution of around 480x800 or similar with an aspect ratio of around 16:9. It is not important how closely it fits to these specs, as I can figure things out after. The cost must be less than 20.

Thanks for the help
Johthu

I don't think you'll find one at all.

Most small screens conform with the standard graphics formats or 1/4 parts thereof - the 320x240 being very common indeed (1/4 VGA).

You'll be looking at a 5" or larger display before you get to 800x600 but the 16:9 ratio is another thing altogether.

The smallest hi-resolution screens I've come across are for mobile phones and the like.

I am desperate now as my entire project is reliant on this lcd, and no luck. Do you know where I could look at least?

Why would you need so high resolution in such small screen? I'm sure there are some available if you search more.

Maybe for a heads-up virtual reality display?

Yeah I was thinking it might be for something like that. Displays used for VR are usually bigger, 4-6 inches, but maybe its for google glass type of device or something.

There are 5.5 inch 2K 1440P displays available for like 20euros for VR use in Aliexpress.

It is for an fpv system, so yes kind of like vr. Touchscreen would be useless but I guess not the end of the world. That phone does seem close to what I need, maybe slightly big

Really appreciate the response

4-5inch screen could be just fine for single screen goggles. I have used very simple ones made by Quanum and if you would position the screen little bit further away 5inch panel would probably be just fine.

Somebody, somewhere is manufacturing these and other drone fpv related; find out its resolution...

That's a pair of old fatshark goggles, they cost £300 each. The reason is because of the modules inside, i have a better idea, so really need these lcds
