Schematics fpr Amana RR-10A Microwave oven

Can anyone help me obtain a service manual or at least an electrical schematic for the Amana Radarange Touchmatic microwave oven Model RR-10A? Thank you.

there isn't one on the inside of the case cover ? it's very common

it will be a main wiring diag .... the actual controller PCB wont have a separate schematic shown

have you tried google?
have you tried the manufacturer?

these are very dangerous to work on ... I hope you are well experienced to do so

There are quite a few 'exploded' diagrams of the innards of that microwave and, from what I can tell, there's nothing particularly complex about it.

They are all much the same - a power supply, various interlocks, a timer and a magnetron. Most microwave failures relate to needing a replacement magnetron which invariably makes the repair none cost-effective.

If the microwave 'works' but otherwise doesn't heat the contents then it's 'junk' - unless it's part of a built-in integrated system where redesigning/reworking the surroundings is more expensive than fitting a new magnetron.

Guess that you have not had the top cover up and off yet ?

On my RR9 . . . . which is your units forerunner . . . . with out the temperature probe feature . . that was where the wiring diagram was glued on.

Tell us if:

The internal cabinet lamp will switch on and off.

The timer display lights up, and you can test it by just using a timer function for an alarms timed out beeps.

My 1978 unit ran until 1991 when the relay that powered the magnetron arced up its contacts. I Replaced that relay.

Unit ran until 2000 when the same relay went bad again, this time I replaced it with a CRYDOM solidified stately power block relay.

Then ran until 2016, when my numbah won son’s Gentile Electrified unit went bad. We swapped units with him using the big AMANA chrome dome.

I had his going in 2 days and it is still being used by me, since sentimentality had then flooded him and he wanted to keep using it.

39 years and its still running . . .

The wired circuitry, less the timer board, basically relates to these interconnects.
