Samsung VCR SV-5000W

Power supply on my SV-5000W beaks down when I leave it on for long
time. It happend already two times.(Approximately every 2 years). Does
any one have schematics or knows what part needs to be replaced? VCR
is essentially dead no lights and strong smell of something burnt
inside.

change all capacitors in the power supply to 105º rated ones of equal
voltage or slightly higher than the originals, replace all zeners in
case one has gone intermittent, failing that toss the vcr and get one
from a more reputable brand (JVC Panasonic etc) even better a
reconditioned older machine will probably live longer than new, badly
made lightweight junk.
