I have a Panasonic Microwave Oven, Model NN-T990SA. The appliance
bulb that illuminates its interior has burned out, and I would like to
replace it. I see two possible access routes. Can you steer me to
the right one? First, there's a fiberboard square on the right,
inside wall that appears to pivot on a nylon pin; it looks like I
could free two corners of the fiberboard by gentle prying and flexing.
Is that how it works? Or, should the nylon pin be pried out? Does
the opening behind the fiberboard give a sufficiently large pathway to
reach the bulb? Second, on the underside of the unit, beneath the
front control panel, there is a single screw. I assume that removing
it would enable me to pull the control panel forward. Would the bulb
and its socket be attached to the backside of the control panel?
If replacing the bulb would require special tools, I wouldn't attempt
it.
Appreciative of any suggestions!
