Repairing a battery contact

I have a hand held scale that my buddy needs repaired. He told me the battery contacts are broken. Is this something that can be fixed?

what sort of battery is it ? pics ? to see the nature of contacts break ?

It uses 4 357 model batteries. It will be here friday and I will put up pics.

ok is it sr44 batteries it uses? and if so you can buy holders for them. the soldering is up to you

You really need a picture, if they are laid out in series in a row you might be able to replace the contacts with normal AAA or AA contacts...

Heck you might be able to simply wad up some aluminum foil and make it work

got it fixed. he didn't bother to replace the batteries they were dead lol.
