Reduce Voltage to Zero in Part of a Parallel Circuit

New to circuit layout (& theory) but have assembled many from schematics...so forgive if this is an overly simplistic question.
In the attached diagram, is it possible to place a regulator/resistor/diode/etc to cut the voltage to ZERO across the green & blue wires ? ....I did leave a large portion of the components out on the "neg" side of the pot, but this shows where I would need the voltage interruption...(complicated in my mind, but has to do with separating power & audio signals on same path).

Should already be zero. Black wire creates dead short across green and blue.

Right, the pot is useless in this setup.
Besides, a typical pot is not suitable for controlling the current through an LED as it is not designed for the current an LED requires.

Please be more specific. Explain your project, tell us what you want to achieve, not how you want to do it. We may come up with a solution - or not. No guarantee can be given at this level of non-information.

but you can dim a LED effectively wiring a Pot as a (Rheostat) variable resistor.
