re-bond ribbon cable to LCD (vintage handheld game)

Hello forum,

I've got an old nintendo handheld game and some images on the display don't work.
When I opened it up the ribbon cable came lose from the glass, just like that.
For what I can find on the internet it is usually fixed.
Is there a way to re-bond this connection and how?

Somehow I can't find what I need. It's a lot about repairing the cable itself, flatscreen monitors, or expensive machines that can do the job but so far not one thing specific enough. Only one small thing about ACF tape. Is that the way to go, has someone successfully done that? Or will silver glue be helpful?
