Hi Guys,
I thought I'd mention a fault I found yesterday.
My brother had an intermittent RCD fault, so I ruled out the socket and then the cooker first because I know the fault is common in these appliances. Turns out it was the washing machine that was tripping the RCD, so I opened it up and checked for leaks and damp area's.
What suprised me, was the RCD fault was contained in the none rewirable plug. Which I thought was quite rare, considering the seal around the plug. The 200M Ohm test veryified this after I snipped the plug.
