Hello, I´m looking for information about Radiofrequency identification
(RFID) systems, equipment and development. I am interested mostly in
systems used in Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) used in highways. I
would like to implement something like that for monitoring vehicles
within a city.

We have a product that is an RFID kit with Visual Basic examples. This
is usually for indoor applications but it may solve your prototype
requirements.

Hi,

Microchip is heavy in the RFID business. They have a lot of technical
data on using these devices.

ETC Tags are UHF tags.

Matrics Has Passive tags that can be read from 20 ft with a unlicienced
(1 W) 915 MHz transmitter. A tagged car can be read at a velocity of
600 miles per hour.

5k for a demo kit... reader, 100 tags and demo software.

Tags are able to be killed to preserve privacy, if the user so desires.
