Hmm, I can't say that I have a lot (or any that I can recall) products with multiple CR2032 in series, but of the several things with a single CR2032, i have never had one leak, even motherboards now over 20 years old with the original battery still in them. Granted, I don't check those daily to see how they are doing, but built many systems for others at the time and have a lot of them so I'd notice.
IMO, leaking is far more likely with alkalines. Duracells for example are supposedly high quality but I wouldn't leave those in anything for more than a few months.
