Question concerning wheatstone bridge - Question for CIE.htm (0/1)

Hi All,

I have been studying electronics at the Cleveland Institue of
Electronics for some time now...recently I sent them a question
concerning a wheatstone bridge, but I have not yet received an
answer...I thought I would post it here on the newsgroup so that
perhaps someone could point out my error. I am attaching my question
to this post. If anyone could point out what I am doing wrong I would
greatly appreciate it.

Thanks in advance,

Russ

Love to help you but I can't open the picture. It would also be nice if you
described your problem rather than your saying that you have one.

Good Morning Don,

I am new to posting with this newsreader, so I dont know why the
picture didnt open.

My problem is this: I am studying linear network analysis, and am
trying to set up linear equations to solve for various currents
running thru an unbalanced wheatstone bridge. I am trying to use
Kirchoff's laws to do this, but I am doing something wrong. Would it
be possible to email you a copy of my work so that you could see what
I am doing? Any help that I could get would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Russ

Good Morning Don,

I am using KCL and KVL, trying to set up a set of linear equations to
be solved simultaneously. I am trying to find a way to repost my
graphics and equations so that you can see what I am talking
about...and I am hoping to have this ready to post by late tonight or
tomorrow morning (I own a TV repair business, and the super bowl has
kept me jumping). Thanks again for being willing to take a look at
this for me.

Thanks again,

Russ

Second equation first term should say "500(I1-I2)"

Then you'll get
I1= .021
I2= .014
I3= -.0145

It's not your newsreader. It's your ignorance of Usenet.

Essentially everything about the way you post to Usenet stinks.
