question about polarization 1X IEC320 C7 Female to 1 x NEMA 1-15P 2pin Male power cord.

Hello!

I'm writing from Poland and i have a question about power cord:

  • Polarized Style (Quality 18 AWG - Quality Replacement)
  • 1X IEC320 C7 Female
  • 1 x NEMA 1-15P 2pin Male
  • Certification: UL Listed

I've tried to use the search engine but without luck.
One of my Pioneer cd players from my dj setup (pioneer cdj 1000). use a polarized step down from 220 to 110 volts. My friend told me yesterday that he lost the power cord that we use to connect the cd player to the step down converter and i need to solve it before evening (we are playing on a gig today).
I would like to take an ordinary european unpolarized power cord, remove the power plug on the male side, remove the output socket in the step down converter and solder the cable directly in that place. On the female side i can just cut that ammonut of ruber (from round to square shape) so it will fit to the socket in cd player.
My question is:

Where is plus and minus in that kind of power cords on the female side?

Sorry for my square english:).

Thanks in advance.
