question about cuttoff and saturation regions

How to can i know (measure) if the transistors are operating in saturation or cutoff region.?

If these are bipolar transistors, then the simple way is as follows:

saturation: Vce is very close to the specified Vce(sat) for the device.

cutoff: Vce is a large value (probably = VCC) Typically Vbe < 0.6V

That's a little simplistic, but it's a start.
