My Canon G2 has an InfraRed remote shutter release. Is there any way I can
find out what is the timing and frequency of the pulses it transmits? I hope
to make a timer that will take an exposure every ten seconds, unattended,
for a couple of hours at a birds' nest.
I have made a timer from a circuit in a local electronics magazine that
opens and closes a relay which turns on and off a remote from Hong Kong
(less than $2 on eBay).
Works well, but it is a bit of overkill. I am sure I can make something
simple using a little Picaxe.
Anyone know where I can find out what pulse sequence I must transmit?
