Problem with old ver FreePCB files and new ver application

I have dozens of FreePCB files I designed using ver 1.200. I can't open them with newer ver 1.344 FreePCB. Anyone know how to do that?

Unfortunately this does happen sometimes where a new version will not look at an older one.

I had the same happen with Desktop Pro.
Only solution I have for that is to run each version on a different pc as they will not operate on the same machine.

There is apparently a newer version of your software released (1.359 ....September 2010 )so perhaps there is a fix there or maybe ask the author.
Old hat stuff so maybe no longer used or supported.

These days heaps of free applications out there ( EasyEDA etc)
I know this doesn't do much for your stockpile but such things happen.
Can't export/import as a gerber or whatever..??

Sometimes old file formats are supported only in the first few releases of a new version. Yopu may try to install one of the first V1.3xx Versions to check whether it can still read V1.2xx files, then have that version convert the file to V1.3xx, then procedd with yor V1.344 or newer.

First, to Bluejets, I have FreePCB 1.200 installed in the Programs Files folder of my Win10 PC, and FreePCB 1.359 installed in the Program Files (x86) folder. After renaming the older version to "OLDFreePCB" I was able to run both of them concurrently.
Second, to Harold, thanks, I'll try that.
