Problem video of board PC

I have an LG LED monitor and it has a VGA output, I use an HDMI/VGA converter (image) and my PC video card is Radeon R7 360 but the problem is that sometimes there is no video without signal I used two converters of different brands and the same problem, my brother used this video card and the same problem sometimes there is no video the last time it happened I cleaned the video card with spray limp contact and the video did not return, my power supply is good Corsair CV450w

Hello,

How are the video settings of the videocard?
Perhaps the converter can not handle the videosettings.

That's an input, isn't it? Not an output

Maybe no settings directly on the card, but definitely settings on the PC, e.g. resolution, refresh rate etc. These values all have to be within the specs of the monitor and are usually set using the operating systems settings.

Which monitor type/model is it? Are you 100 % certain that the VGA input is selected?

Resolution of this monitor is 1366 x 768 @ 60 Hz. Any values higher than that in your (Windows, Linux) settings will not be able to display on this monitor.

Seems a rather pointless exercise to me. If you have a Radeon video card of that spec just get a monitor that can deal with it too. You are wasting system resources and missing out on the benefits of a matched card/monitor.

It's like buying a 4k TV and using an NTSC signal source for the content........
