power supply damage from storm

I have a Docking station power supply was damage by a storm is it worth to fix it and I can not replace the power supply as it come complete with the docking station I try to replace all the faulty parts I turn on the power supply same thing will not work.
I had a power surge when the power went the tv and the computer was connect to the same power surge wich are OK Only the power aupply for the docing station was damage.

Check that the parts are fixed in proper place and tightly...If any improper connection means also that problem will happen...
