Power 2 LCD Panel Displays with a single adapter

I'm a novice and trying to learn about the possibilities of powering 2 LCD screens with a single power supply.
I have 2 identical LCD panels + control boards each with a respective 4A @ 12V power adapter.
If I were to take say, a 10A @ 12V power adapter and splice into it and add a second barrel jack, would this suffice to power both screens?

UPDATE: instead to splicing, it seems I could also use something like this
