Pioneer PDP-505HDG connecting with modern technology

Hi

does anyone know if it is possible to connect a WII or an Xbox One with this plasma, I am hoping my son can use it otherwise it will just get thrown away and as it still works it seems a shame ?

thanks

Viv . . . . .

Why 'soitanly . . . .didn't you read your units manuals, as it shows how to use either an Xbox 360 Component HD AV Cable that branches out to RCA audio and video cables .
or even a SVHS video output option.

For the Nintendo Wii . . . . .it also will take a Component HD AV Cable.

For ther REALLY challenged . . . go kid to kid and let this kid show you your kid how to do it . . . . but their camera management and focus seems to be their shortcoming.

I found a manual here : http://www.pioneer-latin.com/downloads/are1384a.pdf

Please look at pages 13 and 14.
This TV appears to be a two-part model... the TV, and a matching receiver are required.
If you have the receiver then there are numerous ways to connect video game consoles new and old using any connection type they may have...
I see the Red/White/Yellow set of 'Composite' connections, and the S-Video plug.
Better quality from the Red/Green/Blue 'Component' connections, and an even better 'HDMI' connection!

You NEED to have the receiver though...
If in doubt, you can always snap a picture of the back of the TV and we can point you in the right direction.
