Does anyone have any experience working on this tv? It appears Philips has
dropped support for it. What a shame after paying big dollars for it just 4
years ago.

These were serviced at the modular level only, from what I remember. Some of
the modules had to be have their set-ups done, which Philips was not too
keen on giving out information about.

In the past we had bad experience with Philips TV sets, and other related
products. Personally, I would not buy anything more than a shaver or coffee
maker from this manufacture. And, at that I am having second thoughts.

Philips used to make top quality stuff, back in tube days, but like RCA, et
al, it seems to be a label for crap now. It says something when 'NoName' is
better than a brand name, no?

I am working on one of these. I have some documentation that might
help. Does the set power up?
