Any body know how to switch on a p4 power supply without connecting it to a mother board?
only about 50 youtube videos on this, jumper the green and black wires.

Go with the green and ground, black wire any molex black or the 24 pin sockets black.
If it fails to start use a 10 ohm 10 watt resistor or a 10 or 20 watt lamp on the 5 volts rail red +black, there may be sense wires pink is common as is orange, but these are normally spliced together in the plugs, so should fire up ok, if its running and not blown that is. Dave.
