Parameter in determination of electrostatic discharge

Hi everyone,
I know this is off topic but I really hope to find an answer here. Thanks in advance.

I need to determine electrostatic discharge on plastic bag. However I am not from this background. from what I found, the parameter is as follow:

Parameter in determination of electrostatic discharge:
1. Discharge current
2.Rise time of discharge current
3.Peak discharge current.

Is anyone can help me to verify whether these parameters are applicable for plastic bag?

Thanks in advance.

hi and welcome

just to give you a hint
It's the voltage of ESD that does the damage, not the current
the voltage can be 1000's of volts, the current very, very small

I'm a little confused about exactly what it is you're trying to do.
Are you trying to 'measure electrostatic discharge' on a regular plastic bag?
Or are you trying to do that using an electrostatic discharge bag made for that purpose?
Bag specs should be readily available from the manufacturer, but if you're trying to measure
a value across a random plastic bag, I doubt anyplace except a testing house would attempt that.
(if your bagged item is ESD sensitive, you should use a proper ESD bag)
