Panasonic home theater sc-pt 670/673 warm up delay

I have had our Panasonic home theater sc-pt 670/673 system for years and it has been great. During the last year, we have witnessed a growing delay in the time between when we turn the unit on and when it will produce sound. At this point, the delay is about two minutes, which seems very long, as the TV is on much more quickly. Once it is wrmed up, the next time it cycles on and off will require less time to produce sound. The longer it is off, the longer it seems to take to start up.nce it is working, it is just fine.

I am guessing there is a problem with an amp, but not sure if that is even fixable. I know very ittle about electronics or doing repairs on them.

I like this set up and would gladly buy a used replacement unit if I could fins a working one. I would rather not trash the whole system and start again. Does anyone know what other Panasonic theater systems might work with these speakers, so that I could shop for another item number as well?

I'd go to the Panasonic web-page and use a 'contact us' function to ask them about your issue.
Typically, your problem sounds like one I've seen plenty of times before with bad capacitors.
You don't do electronic repairs, so maybe Panasonic can recommend an authorized repair shop near you,
or answer your questions about obtaining a replacement system compatible with what you want to keep.
