It depends on a lot of things. I am not sure what you mean by distance,
but if you are in an area that gets snow they should be located where it is
possible to clean the snow from the panels. Generally they should point
due South and if they are to be fixed, that is not adjustable, generally
their angle to the horizontal should be equal to the latitude of your
location. If they are to be fixed, but with a vertical adjustment for
seasonal changes, I make mine plus or minus 20 degrees.

Having said that, the local topology has to be taken into account. That is
there anything that will block the Sun during the day? Also is there a
particular season that you want to maximize the output? If so you might
want to adjust the angle to the horizontal of the panels, if they are to be
without a seasonal adjustment.

Not quite due south but mid sun-day. Take the sunrise time and the sun set
times and find the mid point. See where the sun is at that time and mark it
in the sky with a marker.

It's very close to due south and probably won't make much difference.

As long as you have urestricted access to the sun during most of the day,
the mounting angle should coincide with the position of the sun at noon
during equinox. If you can change the mounting angle during the year, so
much the better.

My position is Munich with 48,25°. In the morning and afternoon the modules
will be shadowed when the distance between the modules is small (for example
40 cm).

Of course, I don't like to give my money to a warehouse. On the other hand,
I don't have 50 m distance between the rows of modules. But what is the
reasonable distance between them? With 0° the distance would be 0.
