Odd GFCI receptacle

E

ehsjr

I have a GFCI receptacle configured like this:

----------------------

| | | R | | |

o T o

----------------------

(The R and T are rotated 90 degrees on the device)

I found a picture online here:

It's a practical configuration for plugging in right angle plugs.
Anybody know a part number or correct description for the thing?
You don't see it in hardware stores or home centers, but maybe it
can be ordered from an electrical supply house.

In the next photo it says Cooper Industries bought out Eagle.

I'm looking at one right now. My house is full is them. White, not
yellow.

Yup. The one I have is white, too. Any idea of part number or
"official" description?

You could buy this device @ Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/Tower-Manufacturing-30339015-5-Outlet-
Adapter/dp/B000E12ADA

Plug it into standard vertical outlet and end up with some side by side
receptacles.

The other thing that you could do is get a GFI breaker and one of these
rotating duplex's
<http://www.amazon.com/360-Electrical-36011-V-Rotating-Duplex/dp/B000VWE67A>
