Nood Question on multimeter Need Help!!

I recently bought a Uni-T multimeter, Press and hold power button to enter into Hold mode.

Can someone explain to me what is hold mode of multimeter and what is stand for Hold mode.

You use it when you can't probe for a voltage and read the meter at the same time.

Of course many cheap meters then require you to probe for a voltage and press the button... (I guess you can get someone else to press the button, but you could also get someone to read the meter too...)

Read the manual and see if it's useful.
