noob question,easy answer

Hy i just bought DC DC Converter Step Up Boost Module 3V To 5V 1A USB Charger For MP3 MP4 Phoneusb charger.
specs are

so my question is when i power some device with correct voltage but weigher amperage what would happen.
if i power this device with 5v 3a would it burn

The device will only draw the current it needs

you can put a device requiring 1 amp on a 20 amp power supply if you wish

always ensure the voltage is the correct one

its an extremely common question on many forums

usually because those asking the question haven't got around to learning the basics
do some google searching on Ohms Law and how it relates to resistance, current and voltage
