Newbie needs help with floating signals

Hi,

I'm pretty new to electronics. I'm building something that can be remotely controlled with 8 button RF 433mhz remote controller.
the module I got on internet has 10 pins one plus and one pin and 8 pins for each button.
the problem with this module is that it give a 5v signal when a button is pressed else its a floating pin.

I want sent everything to a bit shifter and from there to an arduino.

any tips how to solve my floating signals? need need to be grounded if not high.

Add pull-down resistors.

Just add 47k between each pin and 0v rail
