Hi,
My small business needs to replace it's old time lapse vcr. I am
running 4 analog cameras, but would like to have at least the capacity
for 8. I would like to keep it under $1500.
I have read and read throughout the internet. Seems I have taken a
crash course in CCTV DVRs.
Here are some of the things I think I need. Can someone please give me
some recommendations?
Key features
At least 120GB Hard drive
8 cameras supported
Ability to burn video and audio to a CD.
Remote administration-allow to change settings and operate remotely
Comprehensive search capabilities
RECORD resolution- min 640x480, prefer 720x480
Record should be capable of 30fps/cam
Scheduling
Display should be realtime (30fps/cam)
Network connection / remote viewing capability thru Internet Explorer
(no special viewing software) so camera can be pulled up on any
computer on company network.
Motion detection
Email on alert
