New Member - 50A(55 Burst) DC connector question

HI,
I am looking for a compact connector for a heating device which will need to handle up to 50A constant or 55A short burst.
.
The recommended wiring is 14AWG with a max of 12AWG, silcon/teflon insulated

The proposed plug may need to be 2 prong or possibly I may be able to ground another way.

There is a possibility of a muti prong design to spread the load

Can anyone tell me the minimum surface area needed to safely carry that current?
Thanks

Where did you come up with 14g?
Here in N.A. an ampacity of 50a would require 8g or at least 10g.
Here there are 50amp rated sockets and plugs.

In N.A. NFPA79 and NFPA70 (NEC) both specify 15a for 14g or 20a in a control enclosure.
It is a few decades since I dealt with British regs, but it has to be close.
