Wanted: Need old Tek 465 repaired

I have an old Tek 465(B?) that worked fine some years back when I first bought it. Was going to learn how to use it but had other obligations so I stored it carefully in a case. Now, that I am retired and have time to deal with it, it powers up ok but I cannot get a correct trace.
Like to have it repaired but only estimate I have so far was for $750. Geez, I only paid $400 for it.
I do have a service manual but I am pretty novice and don't know if I trust myself to dive into this.
Any help/advice/suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks.
