Need Help Identifing Transistors

I tore into a 20 year old pager radio and these transistors were in the power amp section. The boards they are on were mounted on massive heat sinks. I tried a Google search and a NTE cross ref and came up dry. A Motorola 587-3737-000-B and a RFP100-100RH (manufacturer unknown).

The RFP100-100 is an atteuator resistor ( Not a transistor)
100W rating and 100Ohms resistance and rated DC - 2GHz
I see items from this company on a number of RF units I work on

Google is your friend :) the first hit was for that device ;)

You will probably find that that part # on that Motorola device is an inhouse number and you wont find any references to it
it will be a device made only for another RF company to their specifications. I suggest that because it doesnt mantch any of the standard Motorola numbering systems. Motorola will NOT release data for it

m 987-3737

View attachment glenayreamp.bmpThe Motorola m 587-3737 is a custom rf transistor used in a known pager power amp. these devices are capable of 45 watts cw in the 900 to 960 mhz. B+ of 26 votes.
the bord you have has a part # of 263-0019-035. and the power amp palate can delver 90 watts.
the other 2 components are 100 ohm ballast resisters.
with 6 watts drive per transistor will produce full power.
good luck and have fun.
