Need help hooking up capacitor up

I had a problem with jet deep well pump, son took capacitor out without looking how it was hooked up there are 3 wires one red and white stripe and two yellow does red and white stripe go on leads that have a resister between the leads or do two yellow wires go to leads with resister between them?
