I am using the Dos ver of Napco, PCD-3000 software for remote
download/upload, etc. Recently, I have been having some problems with
the upload portion (event history) and tech. support seams to think
that I should be using the Windows ver of PCD-3000, because I have
Windows XP in my laptop. I tried the Windows ver of the PCD-3000
about 8 or 9 months ago, and found it very difficult to use. Tech
support tells me that it has been improved since then, and that the
bugs have all but gone away. Does anyone agree with this, or should I
stick with the Dos version? Also, if I do go to the Window's version,
is the transfer of data smooth and streight-forward, or should I
expect a problem(s). Thank you.
