Mystery (to me) Optoelectronics Widget

Hi

Can someone shed some light on this component, or point me to a
resource? It's in a TO18 (little metal can, about 5mm?), clear lens
over the top, one leg id'ed by a tab, letters/#s TSTS 7102 617 around
the perimeter.

Apologies if you all get fed up with this kind of query, but I've
exhausted my (limited) searches...

Doh. Had one last go, found it. GaAs IR Emitting Diode.
