My LG monitor does not work!

My LG monitor Does not work!

My spare Lg Flatiron1940s is not working. I thought the backlight was faulty, so I changed it, but still, it is black, but the backlight stays on.
Can anybody tell me what could be the reason?

hi, im just a beginner in electronics i know very few things,
so, does your LG monitor work with adapter?, like 12v or 19v, if does, i had a similar experience and i found out that the adapter although it was working, but somehow it couldn't turn on the whole TV and the screen stays black, and that adapter was runs the monitor for long time, so maybe it got tired,
i dont know if this is the case about your monitor, but maybe you can check the adapter and like i said if your monitor work with one.

Is your LG Flatron 1940s not showing any power on and dead completely?
Maybe is good idea you need to open up the outer plastic casing and look for any bulged or burned component on the power supply board.
