Hi everyone. I'm new to electronics, but I have been working on this idea for quite a bit right now.
The final product of my project would be a music box that plays music and have a LED that pulses to the beats. There is normally closed push button switch that turns the mp3 player on if the box is open and turn it off when the box is closed.
I was wondering if the schematic I attached would work (the one with four transistors). Earlier I tried a schematic using two transistors instead of four and it worked, but the pulses were hardly noticeable. This was probably because the audio signal coming from the mp3 player was too weak. So I need to amplify the signal further.
