Motor Control project

4ADBA0B4-C6FA-4D25-AB90-7AEBF97AE38E.jpeg Hey guys! New member with what I hope isn’t TOO elementary of a question...
I’ve aquired this motor controller/vfd with the accompanying motor, but no cables. It’s from a cybex treadmill, but intended use is for a variable speed belt sander. Can you guys suggest an easy minimalist solution to making this work on the bench? My electrical experience is limited to 20+ years as a shipyard electrician. Thanks for ANY input!

I would not imagine it to be much more than AC line in, motor 3 phase out, a forward / reverse switch and a pot for speed.
Along with any protection devices necessary.

Do you have a manual or any other photos..... terminal strip...wiring chart.....innards view..??

Apparently that VFD was designed specifically for T.M.'s so it may not have the features of a regular VFD.
If you can find a manual on it it should show how to use the probably limited usage.
