monitor video cable needed

Need a replacement video cable for a Gateway EV 730 monitor.

Some scumbag stole it from our church office, then cut the plug off the end.
The cops recovered the pc and monitor in good shape, except for all cut
cables. The rest of the cables are easy to deal with, so no problem there.
Not so the monitor.

No one works on those. There is no parts support for them anywhere.
Gateway doesn't want to hear about it, nor do their authorized repair shops.
I found out that essentially, monitors are now considered throwaways.

I'd get the plug put back on, but no one does that anymore, either.

Anyhow, I opened the case up and can easily unplug the cord, but I need a
replacement. So, anyone out there just happen to have a spare they'd sell
reasonable? If so, lemme know.

Perhaps buy a video extension cable and cut the female end off

Depending on which cable what cut? Was in the permanent cable that comes
from the monitor to the video card? If so, a TV repair shop should be able
to replace the cable or solder a new end on it. diong a 15pin HD connector
is tricky, but not impossible. Just look up the pinout and go to town.
